Two of the fastest growing economies in south East Asia, India and China have lured many business firms to venture out in their
territories. Mobile phone industry in both these countries have witnessed massive rise in the past few years thereby attracting several mobile companies to set up their bases in their respective territories.
Japanese electronics manufacturer Fujitsu Ltd has revealed its plan to sell its smart phones in India and China in 2011 and 2012 in order to tap the booming mobile market of these two countries.
Features of Smart phones To Be Launched By Fujitsu
The company plans to come up with handsets which will be compatible with Long Term Evolution (LTE) cell phone services. This implies that the phones will be capable for quick data transfers. The company plans to sell 10 million cell phones by 2012 which is 60% more than 2010.
It is to be noted that in October Fujitsu had integrated its mobile phone operations with Toshiba Corp, thereby grabbing the second spot in the domestic market. With the company launching smart phones in India and China, the competition in the smart phone market is set to be further competitive in coming days.
