The Samsung i909 is the new Samsung Galaxy S members. Also, it is the only Samsung Galaxy handset that has both GSM and CDMA connectivity. Unfortunately, it seems that Samsung i909 will stays in China Telecom only.
The first time Sony Ericsson launch the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini is back in February. Compared to it’s sister, the Xperia X10, the Xperia X10 Mini is way much smaller and cuter. Previously, the handset has received an award for the “prestigious Red Dot Product Design Award 2010.”
One of the leading digital media providers in the mobile space is 7digital and features in excess of ten million fully licences tracks in their catalogue while continuing to grow, and now 7digital has been updates to version 1.4.5 to be compatible with Blackberry OS 6.
The Nokia E5-00 is due to hit the UK soon sporting its 2.4 inch display along with a large QWERTY keyboard, with 3G/HSDPA and built in WiFi, and word has it that the Nokia E5-00 is now available for pre-order in the United Kingdom.
BGR has posted some interesting screen captures from Verizon Wireless systems [VZ] that show a few new devices are incoming.
The first smartphone mentioned is the Motorola DROID Pro that has a 4 inch display along with a fast 1.3GHz CPU. This device has the A957 model number and is apparently launching in November of this year.
Nokia has opened up pre-orders for the Nokia N8 for those in the US. The cost of the smartphone is $549 and it doesn’t have free shipping for some reason.
The N8 has a release date of the end of September 2010 listed which puts it a month or so behind the current UK launch although we have heard rumours that the UK has also moved a little closer to October although that isn’t confirmed yet.
Samsung is expected to officially reveal the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet at IFA 2010. The firmware that will run on the European version has been released and is numbered P1000XXJH3.
Opening up the firmware has revealed a few details about the smartphone including the camera resolution, screen resolution, CPU and other details as listed below.
Over here in the UK, a leaked Android 2.1 firmware was made available to download for the Dell Streak on the O2 network. It isn’t clear at the moment if this is an official ROM that O2 will eventually release, or if it was a test ROM.
Wirefly is now selling Verizon’s ZTE Salute. The Salute will be one of the first Verizon handset for the Chinese manufacturer. The handset will be available on Verizon wireless retailer stores in a few weeks.
