Samsung has just confirmed the existence and approaching launch of its 3D phone, complete with an AMOLED touch display. We’re guessing that the device will be announced at CTIA and we know that its screen will support 3D stereoscopic images.

An XDA Developers member seems to have an inside source with the main distributor for HTC and he claims that the company plans on releasing the next Touch Pro model this summer. HTC Touch Pro3 will apparently go on sale in Europe in Q3 and we also learned that the device will be smaller and thinner than its predecessors.

When it comes to devices, Research In Motion’s BlackBerry line-up is one of the most concrete when it comes to model numbers and names. For the most part, devices that fall into a certain category are matched with an appropriate name and number combination. It seems as if Apple has tremendous faith in the battery that is in the iPad. Loop Insight is reporting that Apple’s website says, if your iPad battery dies, you need to just pay $99, and Apple will replace the entire iPad.

The rumors about the BlackBerry Slider won’t go away, so we’re starting to wonder if this is going beyond the BlackBerry Magnum we saw a few weeks back. Maybe, just maybe, the first BlackBeryr slider is the real deal. TomTom announced this week that version 1.3 of the TomTom iPhone app has been submitted for consideration to the App Store. The updates to the TomTom app for iPhone version 1.3 include TomTom HD Traffic for real-time traffic speed and incident reports, and Local Search powered by Google The much welcome real-time traffic updates is finally available on version 1.3, but it will cost users an additional $19.99 to get the feature – something that’s usually offered for free on other apps.
