Synchronization is a beautiful thing (if implemented properly) and Sprint customers sporting a Samsung Instinct will be able to boast such a feature. The Instinct by Sprint will allow users to get access to their corporate calendar and have easy synchronization with Microsoft Exchange Server and IBM Lotus Notes account calendars. Existing users of the Sprint will be able perform an update to get the corporate calendar feature, while new customers can just activate the service directly via the email menu.

It looks like there is no end to the things that Apple’s iPhone can do. Now, Stephen Myers has found a way to get his iPhone to control his own self-built dog treat dispenser. All he needed was an I/O module and servo smart board from ioBridge, a servo, old CD spindle cash, some cardboard and wood scrapts, a large syringe plunger and a webcam. It gets better, since the dispenser can be controlled via his iPhone without the need for any programming. It looks like dogs will be getting a lot more treats from iPhone users now.

Meizu M8 should be available sometime soon, though some folks have managed to get hold of it before hand, and have diligently taken the phone apart, bit by bit. Apparently the phone’s build quality is rather good, sporting good materials and name-brand components, though you shouldn’t expect it to be of the same grade as the iPhone. So if you do manage to get your hands on a Meizu M8 sometime in the near future, will you decide to take the phone apart too?

Samsung will be bringing its i900 Omnia to Russia and it will be branded as the Samsung WiTu. While it might sound radically different from the Omnia, it’s basically the same phone, aside from the fact that there won’t be an 8GB model being offered, so you’ll have to get the 16GB one. The Samsung WiTu will include widgets for quick access to popular Russian sites.

In a rather unexpected move, Verizon Wireless has unlocked the GPS on the Blackberry 8330 Curve and 8130 Pearl, which you can accept as an (early) Christmas present. The folks over at Boy Genius have tested it out, and have confirmed that BlackBerry Maps picks up the internal GPS. This only seems to work on OS 4.5 at the moment, as BlackBerry Maps for OS 4.3 doesn’t seem to have an option to select the internal GPS. So will you be playing with your GPS a lot more now?

Bell subscribers who are looking forward to picking up the BlackBerry Storm look like they’re in for a spot of bad news as it seems that Bell might have to delay the launch of the BlackBerry Storm, which was initially scheduled for December 15th. According to Boy Genius, the phone might not be launched in time for Christmas, and staffs have been told to take down all promotional point of purchase displays for the Storm, and also stop taking names for “waiting lists”. Would you still be patient and wait for the BlackBerry Storm if it’s not going to be available in time for Christmas?
