
Posted on Nokia’s Facebook 2 hours ago, Nokia is announcing its affordable touch screen model called Nokia 5250 today. According to the user guide leaked early this month, the Nokia 5250 is built without WiFi and GPS. Not to say these are crucial features, you might still do good with it if you have a data plan subscription from your service provider. More info will be posted later today.

There are not many information regarding the device. MetroPCS and Samsung hadn’t quite make a big announcement regarding the handset other than brief introduction of the device’s name. Fortunately, today we are able to take a peek at the Samsung Craft LTE’s pictures. Although it is blurry but it’s sure better than nothing.

First seen almost a month ago, the unannounced BlackBerry Bold 9780 has appears in new photos and a new video over the week-end.
By the looks of it, the 9780 is the Bold R020 leaked last week, which means it should be launched in October.

Amazon has uploaded a pre-order page for the Archos 32 Android PMP. Details of the device are also included which reveal the device has a 3.2 inch screen with a 400×240 resolution.
Other features include WiFi, 8GB of onboard storage as well as a web-browser and multi-touch support. A camera is also included allowing photos to be captured whilst on the move.

It is possible to run a stock Android 2.1 firmware on a Samsung Galaxy S . Reasons for wanting to do this include getting rid of Samsung’s TouchWiz interface which a number of people don’t like.
The Samsung Galaxy S Android 2.1 update isn’t official though. It’s actually a modified version from the official Google [GOOG] Android updates and unfortunately doesn’t allow all features of the phone to work just yet.

Last week, MyDroidWorld managed to obtain the Motorola DROID X Android 2.2 update. The update wasn’t the final version, but was uploaded to a server for users to download and install.
This update has now been taken off line as Motorola has sent a cease & desist to MyDroidWorld telling them to take it off line, which they did.

Developers over at XDA Developers have managed to find that the range of Samsung Galaxy S class smartphones have unlock codes built within that allow you to switch networks in the US. To activate the Galaxy S unlock code you need a USB cable and a script to run that when successful, lets you run your Samsung Vibrant T-Mobile device on the AT&T network.

The video looks authentic and it looks like an iPhone actually MADE my Apple, not some DIY white iPhone 4 thing. For instance the flash on this device looks legit, with its silver border. The silver border didn’t look like this on the DIY white covers for the iPhone 4.
