Basically, you can consider this one a simple Public Service Announcement. Truth be told, we’re hoping that this is, indeed, just as T-Mobile USA suggests: a one day event to help stimulate sales, because the best device (at least in retail stores right now) going down this low so soon after its launch isn’t a good sign. The latest batch of available HTC HD2 units on T-Mobile’s web site surely went quick as we see it once again sold out. With the demand of the high powered Windows Mobile smartphone still chugging along at a decent rate, T-Mobile needs to take advantage of this opportunity and hopefully manages to get more units in stock to appease the growing demand. The recent popularity of the smartphone has also managed to reinvigorate sales worldwide – making it one prized device consumers are gobbling up all over. It’s also imaginable that T-Mobile retail stores are also strained when it comes to inventory, but we’d speculate that there are alternate indirect avenues that might prove to be lucky to you such as other online resellers or brick and mortar retail stores like Best Buy or RadioShack.
