HTC Smart2 has been a rumoured handset for a while now and this time we’ve come across a render of the phone. This is supposed to be the second Brew-based handset from HTC and it’ll feature WiFi, the Office Suite and its price will be around $210.

With the upcoming HTC press event on September 15th, it looks like Amazon UK is hinting the arrival of HTC Desire HD soon. No specification or picture is available from the site, although it is indicating a price of around 650 USD. The Desire HD is already leaked on a video, rumored to have a 8 megapixel camera, dual LED flash and 4.3-inch touch screen.

The HTC Mondrian looks to be one of the first Windows Phone 7 devices that HTC will launch.
Some new pictures have been leaked of the Mozart/Mondrian that show it has a large screen along with the three dedicated buttons below the screen which match it up with the requirements of a Windows Phone 7 device.

The smartphone pictured here is supposed to be the HTC Desire HD. The device is said to run Android 2.2 from Google [GOOG] and have a large 4.3 inch touchscreen along with an 8 megapixel camera. The camera is capable of capturing video at 720p HD.
Powering the Desire HD is a 1GHz processor and 4GB of memory can also be found inside.

For those of you that didn’t know, Vodafone have temporarily suspended its 2.1 update1 for the HTC Desire.
Thanks to an article by Khidr Suleman over at V3.co.uk we can share further information on this story with you. It seems angry customers have been complaining on the Vodafone Forums just 48 hours after the release of the branded update.

The HTC EVO 4G Android 2.2 update is now rolling out as of today (as previously promised a few days ago).
The update brings the usual Android 2.2 upgrades to the smartphone including the speedier interface along with a bunch of other features.

HTC might be ready to push out the Android 2.2 Froyo software updates for the HTC Desire tomorrow, according to Mark Moons (Regional Director HTC Benelux)’s tweets today. HTC Desire users have been relying on the xda-developers forum for the Android 2.2 Froyo updates. If the tweets are on schedule, you should be getting the updates by this week. The software updates will be pushing out to users in batch so not all users will get the notification at the same time.
