If you were able to catch the HTC Desire during the last MWC 2010, you may have noticed that it was showcased in a black version. Apparently there will be a silver version and it certainly looks better. The HTC Desire silver version appeared at the XDA forums.

To refresh you, the HTC Desire features a 3.7” WVGA AMOLED touch screen, a 5MP autofocus camera, GPS and runs on a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The silver version will be available initially in Europe by April.

Vodafone and HTC have just let u know that the sleeker, sexier older brother to the HTC Hero, the HTC Legend, will be hitting Vodafone exclusively this April. While you can’t currently pre-order the phone you can leave your email and get some updates, oh joy.

An XDA Developers member seems to have an inside source with the main distributor for HTC and he claims that the company plans on releasing the next Touch Pro model this summer. HTC Touch Pro3 will apparently go on sale in Europe in Q3 and we also learned that the device will be smaller and thinner than its predecessors.

It’s almost incredible how more and more photos of the HTC Incredible are showing up, and yet Verizon still hasn’t announced the smartphone.
Anyway, along with the new photos came interesting details about the features of HTC Incredible.
Reportedly, the smartphone measures 117.5 x 58.5 x 11.9 mm (it’s almost like the Nexus One) and comes with an 8MP camera and 512MB of RAM. For some reason, the Snapdragon processor that powers the Incredible seems to be underclocked to 768MHz – however, Android 2.1 and Sense UI are running “blazing fast” on the device.
Verizon’s logo can bee seen on the Incredible’s back cover (which, if removed, unveils a full-red interior):

T-Mobile has recently started sending out invitations to a press event taking place on March 16th in New York City. Apparently, the event is linked to the launch of HTC HD2, taking place on March 24th, according to a bunch of leaks from sources close to the story.

Apple [AAPL] has filed a lawsuit against mobile phone maker HTC over iPhone Patents. HTC make a number of mobile phones which run Google’s Android OS, and they also make the Google branded Nexus One smartphone.
The lawsuit was filed by Apple today at the US district court in Delaware, and with the US ITC. The lawsuit alleges that HTC has infringed on twenty Apple patents. All of these patents are related to Apple’s iPhone.

With the announcement of Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Series being made at Mobile World Congress, the speculation is that the HTC HD2 would be upgraded to Windows Phone 7; however, according to an article over on apcmag.com, the HTC HD2 will not see a Windows Phone 7 upgrade.

The HTC HD Mini follows a recent fashion of making “mini” version of big handsets, in this case the HTC HD2. The HD2 is a really big handset, so can the HD Mini reproduce its features in a more pocketable form?
